It is claimed on social media that no Congress leader was presented in Bharat Ratna award ceremony of Pranab Mukherjee. When P Chidambaram sent to Tihar Jail all congress leader reached to jail to meet former finance minister. But this claim is false. It is true that neither Sonia nor Rahul reached Rashtrapati Bhawan, but other congress leaders like Sushil Shinde, Anand Sharma, Sashi Tharoor and RPN Singh were there in the award function.
