Dear Visitor, we are delighted to welcome you to the National Garden Scheme in Bedfordshire. Your visits make a huge difference, and thanks to your generosity and that of our garden owners and volunteers, we raised over £40K in 2021 for our nursing and health, and gardening charities.
We begin the open garden season in February with snowdrops followed by spring bulbs in March and April.
You can enjoy beautiful plantings and inspirational designs at numerous gardens throughout the summer, some of which have been featured in national magazines and on television. There are also themed gardens such as the alpine garden, the serene Japanese garden and the meandering Texan dry riverbed garden, as well as several walled gardens. A trio of 18th century gardens designed by Capability Brown – Southill Park, Luton Hoo, and The Walled Garden at Luton Hoo – are also open for the National Garden Scheme. We will conclude the year with an enchanting celebration of Diwali themed evening of lights.
Thank you for your support to the National Garden Scheme, and we look forward to welcoming you to our gardens in Bedfordshire in 2022.
