Today’s video is early February tour of my UK tropical style jungle garden, focusing on changes to my shady borders full of big leaves, hardy evergreen exotics, snowdrops and the promise of summer colour. It’s time to review some winter damage to the browning tree fern fronds, Trachycarpus hardy palm growth rates, which bamboo plants make the best fast growing screening choices and chat about some of the exotic plants I’ll be adding to the garden this year. The giant Gunnera manicata plants now have more room to really to their thing and I’m looking forward to growing hardy begonias and exotic foliage in the garden this year. What garden plans, projects and transformation ideas have you all got for this year? Feel free to leave any of your tropical style or jungle plant questions or experiences in the comments, it's great to hear from you!
