Sir Keir Starmer has labelled Boris Johnson as a “super-spreader” of confusion on coronavirus after sudden changes in policy over isolation exemptions and Covid vaccine passports.
The government made a surprise announcement this week that nightclub-goers would need proof of vaccination to enter venues from September, despite no requirement being in place now.
“When it comes to creating confusion, the prime minister is a super-spreader,” Sir Keir told the Commons at PMQs.
In response, Boris Johnson accused the Labour leader of trying to “score cheap political points” over the issue.
