Ginisang Baguio Beans🌱
500g (½ kg) pork belly
1 big potato
750g (¾ kg) green / Baguio beans
10 cloves garlic
1 red onion
1 big white onion
green and red bell peppers
chili, optional
annatto /asuete powder to color
1 packet Ginisa mix seasoning or MSG to taste
salt to taste (about 1 tbsp)
pepper to taste
60mL oyster sauce (4 tbsp)
2 tbsp cornstarch + 4 tbsp water
500 to 750 mL water (2-3 cups)
15g margarine or butter (1 tbsp)
30 mL oil (2 tbsp)
Blanching liquid:
2-4 Liters water
⅛ tsp baking soda or 1 tablet (500mg) sodium bicarbonate
pinch salt
