In this video we will learn about koeppen climate classification system world climate | Group E : Cold / Polar Climate. Polar climates exist poleward beyond 70° latitude. Polar climates consist of two types: one is Tundra climate which is denoted by capital letter (ET); and the second one is Ice Cap which is denoted by capital letter (EF). This climate is found in places like - Antarctica, countries of arctic regions - Greenland, North Eastern Coast of Scandinavia, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Northern Siberia, Northern Iceland, Northern Canada and Alaska. In South America, Southern parts of Argentina, Chile, Peru. Himalayas have polar climate too. Type of Vegetation that exists are plants like mosses, lichens, small shrubs are found here.
