The Louis Moinet 20-Second Tempograph has an original feature: the seconds hand turns for 20 seconds, then jumps back to 0 for the next sweep, rather than continuing its cycle around the dial. But beyond the obvious animation this brings to the dial, it's the layout of this dial that is striking, with its open-worked left half exposing part of the movement, and the style of the rest of the dial, mixing very traditional elements (the hours and minutes white sub-dial with roman numerals and railway-style minute track, the clous de paris around the edge...) and very technical steel partitions and bridges.
