Kyrgyzstan's emergencies ministry has confirmed that at least 37 people were killed when a Turkish cargo plane crashed into a village near Manas airport, north of Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek. The Boeing 747 crashed while trying to land amid dense fog, destroying about 15 buildings. Most of the victims were villagers.
