We are very happy to have Dr Masumi Yamada sharing with us on Earthquake Early Warning in Japan. Dr Masumi Yamada is an assistant professor in Disaster Prevention Research Institute from Kyoto University.

As we all know that Japan is one of the first countries that issued an earthquake early warning alert on the national level. Today Dr Masumi Yamada will be talking about Integrated Particle Filter (IPF) and Propagation of Local Undamped Motion (PLUM) Methods implemented in the Earthquake Early Warning System in Japan.
