MUGHLAI KARAHI
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken – 1 kg pieces or legs
Salt (namak) – 2 tsp or to taste
Crushed red chili (kuti laal mirch) – 1 tbsp
Tomatoes (tamatar) – 1 cup , grind into puree
Onion (piyaz) – 1 sliced
Turmeric powder (haldi) – 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste (lehsun adrak) – 1 tbsp
Cumin (zeera) – 2 tsp
Fried onion (piyaz) – 3 tbsp
Peppercorns (sabut kali mirch) – 5
Cloves (lonng) – 5
Cinnamon (daarcheeni) – 3
Black Cardamom (bari illaichi) – 3
Water – 1 cup
Vegetable oil – ½ cup
Yogurt (dahi) – ¼ cup
Cream – 3 tbsp
Garnish : coriander, green chili , ginger , butter
