Today is the day for the $10 Envy Scooter Rebuild Part 2! Today we are checking up on the internals of the scooter. Mainly the headset. I decided to take the headset cups out of the head tube on the scooter so that I can prepare the deck for anodizing or paint, as well as protect the components of the headset from any further damage. I took the scooter headset cups out of the deck using a flat head screwdriver and upon removal, I checked on the existing damage and their was nearly none! This build just keeps getting better and better. The parts and pieces in the scooter did need some cleaning but that was easily taken care of. After diagnosing parts of the headset and removing the grip tape on the scooter, I did a little bit of scootering in the scooter zone skatepark with Stevo. We had a great time riding throughout the park and doing tricks like backflip tailwhip, flairs, barspin variations, scooter flip, cash roll and a bunch of other fun tricks. I can not wait to get this scooter done and cruise around on it for the first time! It is going to be insane!
