Here are the instructions -
In the days before the internet, streaming, and on-demand, a TV show’s intro served to hook the audience and quickly introduce them to the characters and the situation. You are going to create a new intro for a classic sit-com, The Dick Van Dyke Show (which we can use because it is in the public domain).
Use clips from some of the episodes in this module to assemble an opening that will grab the audience. For music, you can grab the audio from the end titles of any of these episodes. Introduce us to at least these characters:
-Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke)
-Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore)
-Richie Petrie (Larry Mathews)
-Sally Rogers (Rose Marie)
-Buddy Sorrell (Morey Amsterdam)
Bonus characters:
-Mel Cooley (Richard Deacon)
-Alan Brady (Carl Reiner)
-Millie Helper (Ann Morgan Guilbert)
-Jerry Helper (Jerry Paris)
The music runs 36 seconds, so that should be the maximum length of your title sequence. Additionally, if you want to get fancy, you may choose to do the title sequence in the style of another show, but you must only use footage from the Dick Van Dyke Show. You may use other Dick Van Dyke Show episodes if you have a particular scene you need.
Intros should capture the feel of the show, so think about what that means. Who are the stars? What makes it funny? What is the nature of the comedy? Use these questions to guide your work.
