Hey there Chevy owners. Today on your 2020 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Diamond Pattern Snow Tire Chains with self-tensioner. The Titan Diamond Pattern Snow Tire Chains are one of my top choices for tire chains on your Traverse. And that's because one, the ease of install which we'll show you here in a bit, but they are definitely one of the easiest to install. I also like that it includes a tensioning device, there's no additional parts you have to buy to keep these safe and secure on your Traverse. You can see here that diamond pattern which is going to provide more coverage over your tire than traditional ladder pattern style chains.

I also like that they are a low clearance tire chain. They're SAE Class S approved so that limited wheel well clearance you have back here on your tire is not going to be an issue.They are a small link design. But there's going to be enough here to bite into that snow and ice to give you traction while still providing a smooth ride for you and your family as you go down the road. The tire chains come with an included carrying case which is going to make it great for keeping them handy in the back of your Traverse on those snowy winter days. Like I said, it's a very easy install I'll go ahead and show you that now.

When you are ready to install them, get them out of your case and lay them out. The first thing I recommend you do is just make sure there's no tangles in any of the links, so that way it doesn't get bound up when you try and install it. You're going to want to have the yellow side over towards the rear of the vehicle and we're going to pass that around. So we can grab it here.Now this is where I really like it compared to some of those other styles of tire chains, because other tire chains are going to have you lay on the ground and get behind there to make any connections. We don't have to do that at all here, what we can do is take our two ends now and come up behind our tire and make a connection there.

And then we can simply take our chains and start draping them over. And then here in the front is where we're going to make our first connection with our green hook. Then we can come down here and finish pulling those tire chains around. We're going to take our gray chain and pass it through our red tensioning device to get that as tight as we can. Then the rubber end with the hook on it is going to go through our two hoops here.

That's just to take up some of the slack.Then we can take our rubber end with the hook we're going to stretch it across, connect it across the link. And at this point our tire chains are installed. I recommend you install the other one the exact same way. Then as you drive down the road the tires are going to tension up. Get nice and snug on here and you're ready to go.
