@LOstinTravelAgain was at the re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo 2023. Napoleon’s last hurrah! This is yearly event in Belgium, just north of Brussels.Players represented French Army, British troops, and Prussian Brigades. Bonaparte and Wellington made appearances too. They battled, shot cannons and stormed the Hougoumont farmhouse complex. The museum and panorama are open year round, except for some holidays. Check their website. Climb the Butte of the Lion for a great view. There is a restaurant and a brasserie on site.
