After more than a year of government shutdowns, restrictions and quarantines, people are traveling again. Tourism is rebounding much faster than anticipated, but a negative COVID test is still required for visitors and residents traveling to Hawaiʻi from the mainland. Fully vaccinated residents, who received their vaccinations in Hawaiʻi, can now travel interisland with a vaccine passport. Will that extend to mainland and international travelers, and if so, when?
