Parasite Eve II takes the best elements from survival horror and RPG games to create a experience unlike anything else. You play as Aya Brea, as you track down more neo-mitocondian creatures. Like most survival horror games, you move through the areas, solve puzzles and fight enemies. The combat is unique as it takes place in real time but allows for special powers, which can be upgraded over time. Mix that with the impressive visuals and gameplay and you have a great game and worthy follow-up to the original.
