What happens if you pitch a bunch of newly recruited soldiers up against an alien threat? You get XCOM. Also, pain. Lots of pain.
Welcome to episode 1 of the XCOM Let's Play show. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I will!
To enlist as a soldier in the war, post a comment with your preferred nationality, class, gender and customization options. Since the game won't let me assign nicknames until those are earned, please give me a first and last name to work with. If your soldier gains a title, you can choose your own title.
Since I am playing in Ironman mode, deaths are inevitable. I can not do anything about it. If your soldier dies, you will be moved to the bottom of the recruitment list and will then join in as a new soldier when there is space in the troop.
