This is an example of a drill I use all the time to ingrain the "pivot driving the swing." It promotes a proper pivot and forces it to dominate the swing. IMOP the pivot is the "driving" force in a great golf swing. You cannot hit balls consistently, if at all, using just the arm only. Most people can't make contact at all as they have a flawed pivot and arms/club that are working "out of sync" with the core/body/pivot. I hit this one on the toe a bit, but, it was hit pretty solidly and was compressed. (it was 30 degrees and I had no warm up's so I'll cut myself a bit of slack.... ;) )
