Hi all, here is my flight back home from a nice weekend in Keflavik, despite the weather conditions being rubbish the whole time I was there, I did infact enjoy what we saw of this magnificent island, so much that I'm already planning a trip back here before the end of the year!

Anyway, another smooth and pleasant flight back with Wizz Air, with some very friendly crew. This was just days before Wizz Air UK was granted certification to operate. However this was operated on a Wizz Air UK Aircraft, G-WUKB, its always nice to be onboard a brand new aircraft! This one being less than 3 months old.

We departed Keflavik in a southerly direction, sadly the cloud base was too low to see much after departures. An hour into the flight the clouds cleared allowing us for some beautiful views over the Scottish Highlands and Outer Hebrides as well as some nice views of Manchester, which I kindly pointed out for you all in the video. We then descended into broken clouds on our approach to Luton, of which was quite gusty, having a firm but late touch down and full application of brakes! You may also notice as we were taxiing out to depart at Keflavik it was also very finely snowing! Something I thought was interesting to see, especially at this time of year.
