The giant Antonov AN-2 is the biggest single-engine biplane ever made. This particular Antonov An-2 was built in 1978 and provides space for 12 passengers. The aircraft is powered by an aircooled, 9-cylinder Schwezow ASch-62 radial engine with ca. 30-Liters of displacement. The short video shows the Antonov An-2 in a flyby as part of the 6th Stanserhorn vintage AirParade 2023 in Switzerland. The Stanserhorn is a peak in Central Switzerland and can be reached by cable car. From there, and in an altitude of ca. 1900 meters above sea level, a breathtaking 360 degrees viewof the Swiss Alps and of the surrounding alpine foothills is offered.
