While excavating the submerged archaeological site close to the 12th century Elvet Bridge in Durham City, England, I happen upon a plastic bag filled with old coins just lying on the river bed. It appears that the bag has been in the River Wear for around 20 years. Incredibly, it contains 250 different coins from around the world! The big question is just why were they thrown in the river, and by whom? You can learn much more about our exciting research by visiting our website: Dive into Durham website: [ Ссылка ]
