How to make a Bacardi cocktail:
Ingredients:
3/4 oz (22.5 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz (22.5 ml) Simple Syrup
2 oz (60 ml) Bacardí Superior Rum
Equipment:
Cocktail Glass (Coupe)
Boston Shaker
Hawthorne Strainer
Fine Mesh Strainer (Optional)
Using a Boston shaker, fill the small shaker with ice and set it aside. In the large shaker, pour in the ingredients in the order listed above. Add the ice from the small shaker and seal the two shakers with a light tap on the top small shaker. Shake for 10-12 seconds or until it's ice cold to your hands. Using the Hawthorne strainer (and a fine mesh strainer which I forgot to use here to help keep any lime pulp or ice chunks out), pour into a chilled cocktail glass (I used a Coupe Glass). Enjoy this refreshing drink that offers a nice blend of citrus and sweetness!
