Security camera footage captured the moment a bomb blast hit the al-Salam mosque in northern Lebanon as friday prayers were ending.
It was one of two deadly blasts targeting mosques in the largely Sunni area of Tripoli, killing at least 42 people and wounding hundreds more.
The explosions came just one week after a car bomb killed at least 24 people in a Shi'ite area of the capital Beirut known as the stronghold of militant group Hezbollah. They have been fighting in Syria for the government forces.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the blasts. Locals in Tripoli claim that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was behind the attacks.
Lebanese Defence Minister Fayez Ghosn warned against intensifying sectarian violence spilling over from the civil war in neighbouring Syria.
