scotch eggs might just be my favourite egg dish of all time. They take a bit of effort to make but are so delicious
Recipe:
- Scrape out the raw sausage meat from two sausages
- Boil eggs for 6 minutes(eggs should start at room temperature), peel them and then wrap them with the sausage meat
- freeze the egg and meat wrap for about 10 minutes so that it firms up slightly so it's easier to handle
- dunk the eggs in all purpose flour, then into beaten egg, and finally into panko or breadcrumbs
- deep fry at 160C until golden brown on the surface
- eat with mustard or any sauce of your choosing
