Join us this May for Sheep Shearing and Herding at Billings Farm & Museum. Watch as our Southdown ewes shed their heavy winter fleece with the help of our sheep shearer, who will demonstrate hand shearing, hand-powered clippers, and today’s electric shears. As a special treat, watch Border Collies follow commands and their instincts to herd sheep in the farm fields. Hands-on wool activities are on offer for our younger visitors.
