Baltoskandijos akademija (Academia Baltoscandia) is located in Panevezys (Lithuania).
Academia Baltoscandia is based on the Idea of Baltoscandia by Lithuanian geographer prof. Kazys Pakštas. It was founded on the 17th of November in 1991 as the institute of science researches which regularly organizes arrangements dealing with Baltic and Scandinavian cultural, historical and political contacts.
Notion of the Baltoscandian Idea was formed referring to the real geopolitical base - community of the 8 small and middle nations in the Northern Europe: Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The main forms of activities of Academia Baltoscandia are :
1) to organize conferences and seminars, some of which become traditional:
2) to celebrate anniversaries of Independence of all Baltic and Scandinavian countries as well as other national festivities;
3) to publish the information bulletin "Baltoskandija";
4) to create library "Baltoscandia";
5) to create museum "Baltoscandia";
6) to gather archive of Baltoscandian contacts;
7) to form Baltoscandian consultation-information centre.

In 31 December 2009 Baltoskandijos akademija is closed by Panevėžys' town council.
