Sony’s PlayStation 5 has finally gained traction after a tumultuous couple of years where production was stymied by worldwide microchip and superconductor shortages.  

Now, in 2023, more people than ever own a PS5, meaning there are hundreds of thousands of Sony-owning racing game fans out there all eager to pick up their next fix.  

Helpfully, we’ve decided to list our top ten favourite racing games currently available to play natively on the PS5, and there are some surprises in store. (And one entry that isn’t a surprise at all!)  

PS5 players are lucky enough to choose from the likes of GRID Legends, Wreckfest, Need for Speed Unbound and Gran Turismo 7 (as well as many, many more). However, you may be shocked at which games didn’t even make the cut...
