Trainer Ed Bethell recorded his first Group One victory as 10/1 chance Regional landed the Group One Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock.
Ridden by Callum Rodriguez, the pair held off the persistent challenge of Shouldvebeenaring to land the six-furlong event.
The big disappointment of the race was the 11/10 favourite Shaquille who trailed home in last place for Julie Camacho.
