Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat. On Tuesday, PM Modi offered prayers at Shree Annapurna Dham, in Adalaj, Gandhinagar district where he then attended the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony, a ritual of consecration of an idol, at the newly-built temple dedicated to Maa Annapurna, the reigning deity of Leuva Patidars, a subgroup of the Patel community. He also laid the foundation stone of Shikshan Bhavan & Vidyarthi Bhavan at Adalaj, Gujarat.
