Liane Synek was a dramatic Soprano from Vienna.
She studied with Helene Wildbrunn. On her audition with 17 she asked Wildbrunn: "Do you think I'm going to be able to sing Brünnhilde one day? Otherwise I don't want to start studying at all!"
Well she became a sensationell Brühnhilde !
Though she always stayed an ensemble member at Wiesbaden, and might not had a big international career, for me she is one of the best Hochdramtische of all time!
