Arla Rødkærsbro wanted to further automate its production line by automating mozzarella block handling.
The production line loaded 2.3 kg mozzarella blocks, which was monotonous and repetitive and by automating, Arla Rødkærsbro aimed to minimise heavy lifting for its employees.
A new system, featuring a recycled robot, was installed in the production. This innovative process involves grouping four mozzarella blocks, which are then swiftly picked up by the first robot and placed in the thermoformer. The second robot efficiently packs the mozzarella blocks into plastic crates, which are then stacked and palletised.
