An ongoing corruption probe involving Transport Minister S Iswaran stemmed from an unrelated investigation on a separate matter by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said on Wednesday (July 12).
He also responded to questions from the media on the difference between CPIB's recent investigations into the rental of two bungalows at Ridout Road by two other government ministers and the latest case, saying that "the two cases are very different".
