Just an exercise run this morning, A tad cool at near 60* to start and remained overcast for much of the 2-lap, 22-mile ride but it did reach into the 70's later in the morning. Started just a few minutes after 8:00am and stopped at the mid-point old mill area on my 2nd pass for a peanut butter sandwich and a break.
Met a new bicycle patrol volunteer on his recumbent bike. Dwight lives in SW Knoxville area and can also be seen on a regular basis participating in Knoxville area rides where he and his wife can be found pedaling an 11' long tandem. Pics next time, the sandwich prevailed today!
T he only 4-legged animals I saw were these two deer and one other I rode by earlier. I think these two wanted to be photographed; so, here they are!
