56-AWG World's Smallest Magnet Wire, Smaller Than A Human Hair! Mesured @ 7.62 Microns??? 2000$ for .156Lb!!!
Hey guys, I picked up this wire from a local surplus store, and after looking at it, it appears to be the smallest wire they make! i did find where one company would make smaller, but realistically this is just crazy small already and 2 sizes more (58AWG is not going make much difference! ) so i'm classifying this as the worlds smallest Coated magnet wire! it measure's .0003" (0.00762mm or 7.62 micron!! We theoretically should not be able to see this small hummm ) if that's true it would be even smaller than the 58AWG. haha, crazy and its from 1981!!!
