Ali, 13, has had difficulties learning to read and write again, after witnessing an attack on his school in Syria in which two of his friends died. He is currently going to school in Lebanon, the country that has been his home for the past five years. Ali says: "I used to study English, math, Arabic and other subjects. I was the top of my class, but because of the war... I don’t know what happened to me. I forgot how to read. Here I enrolled in school and learned to read again."
