We recently completed our 7-night Caribbean voyage on Wonder of the Seas and wanted to share the challenges we ran into with our Balcony Cabin (aka Stateroom) #14200 or 14-200 (deck 14, room 200).

The noise happened sometimes during the day, more often at 11:00 PM and again at 3:00 AM. The first night we heard a loud dinging noise at 3:00 AM. Being exhausted from the travels the day before, we ignored it as much as we could and finally fell asleep after it stopped an hour or so later. The next day, it happened again so we went up to floor 15 (pool decks) to investigate where we saw the cleaners working. They were using a power washer and every time they went to spray, the pump turned on, making that loud noise in our room.

We went to the front desk to let them know about the noise. They were very kind and ensured they took care of the issue for the remainder of the cruise, except the last night. After we called it in again, the noise stopped.

If you plan on booking Balcony Cabin 14200, be aware of the noises you may experience due to the proximity of the pools above and cleaning.
