The 2022 supercell storm season in Saskatchewan was one of the best in recent memory. We saw consistent thunderstorm activity across much of Western Canada all summer with Saskatchewan seemingly producing a memorable storm every other day. Unfortunately, the season coincided with record-breaking gasoline prices which made chasing a little more difficult. That said, I got out a lot and am excited to present my fourth installment of "Land of Living Skies".
This film features time-lapse footage from many different storms from the 2022 #skstorm season. Some of the major events included are:
- June 23rd tornado-warned storm near Chamberlain, Saskatchewan
- June 29th storm system that produced three tornadoes around Foam Lake, Saskatchewan
- July 8th tornado-producing storm near Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan
- July 15th tornado warned supercell that began near Davidson, Saskatchewan and travelled all the way to Manitoba.
- July 17th tornado warned supercell that produced the best storm structure I've ever seen
A timelapse film is only as good as the music and this year I am beyond excited to bring you two incredible songs from Greg Dombrowski of @Secession Studios called "Hope is a Prison" and "The Gloaming". I think you'll agree, it's amazing and I really encourage you to check out all of his work on his website:

A big thank you to my wife for all the support. This would not be possible without you. Thank you to my kids for helping mom out while I disappeared for hours on end.
