This is perhaps the shortest concert in the history of music, lasting all of 4 minutes! Torrential rains enforced a postponement of this concert on 30th Dec 2021 in Chennai, after mrdangam legend Umayalpuram Sivaraman and Ravikiran managed to reach the venue, as did a few brave listeners. The mrdangam maestro did not want to go without playing at least one song in honour of stalwart, Shri T V Gopalakrishnan (TVG), who was the recipient of the Award from Chennai Fine Arts. The original violinist, Delhi Sunder Rajan's car got stuck en route but Akkarai Subhalakshmi, who had come to attend the event, borrowed a violin from another artist and supported Ravikiran [on the condition that he wouldn't play any improvisation! The trio played Muttuswami Dikshitar's Gajananayutam in Vegavahini, which Ravikiran had learnt from Shri TVG at age 6.
