Here’s a quick look at what my magic nogu can do.
I refined everything myself.
My goal was 200% ignore mdef but I ended up getting a good ignore mdef enchant on offhand (200m of mora) so I’m currently higher than I need to be.
Ignore mdef usually is a problem for magic nogu (you can see I have 17% ignore mdef on back slot instead of a damage item) so the 4th enchants are pretty important.
Crits stack on magic nogu. There’s the built in crit for thunderbolt (aesir and runebox) but that can get another crit from shellfish/sachet/koi etc.
Example: 100m crit thunderbolt would stack crit to 200m if you had 300 luk
In pve, the crit is pretty inconsistent so it might not be as useful as consistent damage items like matk% and mpen% but in pvp, the crit is very effective for shredding tanky people because most of my damage comes from refine matk instead of normal matk. Matk%, race%, and mpen% don’t affect the damage that comes from refine matk.
the skill also has 12 meter range so you can cast it from off screen in pvp. More targets hit = more damage. Drag and aim to land skill on enemy backline priests and other backliners.
For pve content, I can do 50% team damage in comodo brave and tt usually. in CML, the long range helps to quickly break orbs on the last stage.
Are other magic classes better for pve? I don’t know. Slayer was a limited time colab which I didn’t buy so I can’t really compare it. Soul linker also looks pretty strong (people hit 2b+ on dummy) but again, I didn’t buy it so I can’t really compare.
