A pyramid of plastic waste—believed to be the largest of its kind on Earth—was erected in the Egyptian desert, just days ahead of the COP27 international climate summit. The structure, which is more than 30 ft tall, 30 ft wide, and weighs 20 tons, was built entirely from trash recovered from the Nile River.
'Despite its epic size, the pyramid shows just a fraction of what is an incredible crisis,' said Justin Moran, one of the initiative’s organizers, via SWNS.
