Whew. It's been a bit of a nightmare trying to keep this album a secret, but the process of working on it has been incredibly rewarding. As well as making a start in tackling the huge list of requested Undertale songs everyone has been clamouring about, I also got to meet and work with some fantastic musicians that helped out with a few of the tracks! I'm really pleased with all of the tracks on the album, and I'm excited to finally get a chance to show you guys.
Spider Dance has always been a personal favourite of mine (and it seems a personal favourite of more than a few of you), and with this track I was going for something much larger and brassier than I've ever attempted in the past. I've had quite a few little drafts of how I'd approach the track since I finished Undertale for the first time, and - after working out how I'd start the arrangement - the rest of the remix grew organically from there. Michaela did an absolutely amazing job of making the violin part come to life, and I can't thank her enough for the impact it has had on the mix as a whole!
