Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan read out an anti-CAA paragraph during his policy address of the state government in the Kerala Assembly. The Governor mentioned that he does not agree with the verse, but is reading it since the Chief Minister wants him to. Earlier, the Governor faced protests from Congress led UDF MLAs when he arrived in the house. Kerala Assembly earlier passed a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act and has also challenged it in the Supreme Court.
