This is the Observers Book of Automobiles, 5th edition, 1959: Describing upwards of 100 makes with over 240 half-tone photographs and numerous line drawings (Observer's pocket series). I've had this book since I was a young boy. The Observer series are pocket-sized books, published in the U.K. intended for children to inspire interest in the given subject.
This is part one, covering Automobiles A-F. Notable car makes in this video: Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Bentley, Bugatti, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, De Soto, Dodge, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Frazer-Nash, Frisky.
