At least five people have been killed in fresh violence in Manipur's Jiribam. A Meitei man was shot dead by three suspected Kuki militants while he was asleep. After the killing, a heavy exchange of fire broke out between armed men of the warring communities, leading to the deaths of three suspected Kuki militants and a Meitei man.
