I embarked on a solo winter wild camping trip on the Ring of Steall on Christmas Day. It did not go to plan but wild camping did give me time to reflect on a few things in life.
To get there I had to cross the Steall rope bridge and take my boots off to do a winter river crossing. Had I bitten off more than I could chew?
