[ Ссылка ] The COVID-19 crisis is impacting governments and societies in unprecedented ways. Are democracies and autocracies responding to the crisis in similar or different ways? What will be the impact of this crisis on elections, or on trust in government? And what is the crisis revealing about social solidarity, executive authority, and international cooperation? This panel of Stanford scholars from FSI's Center for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) addresses the implications of COVID-19 on democracy and governance. Moderated by Didi Kuo, the panel includes Sheri Berman, Larry Diamond, Francis Fukuyama, and Stephen Stedman, with remarks by Michael McFaul, director of Stanford University's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.
