Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel must face consequences for its purported attack on an Iranian consulate building in Damascus, Syria. The attack resulted in the deaths of two generals and several other officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Notably, the IRGC is designated as a terrorist organization by the United States.
