Quick story time: I originally planned on making this all the way back in April 2023, however I stopped because I was overwhelmed with the work revolving around college courses as well as focusing on Haruhi books (as I had only just finished the first book by that point). To be honest, I’m glad it was delayed until now. This book is so good that I would not have been able to do it justice with the limited skills and editing capabilities I had at the time. I really wanted this book to be a more theatrical experience, and having a full death note OST and VN songs made this way more achievable. Death Note was one of the first anime I ever watched. Naomi is only in a couple episodes in the anime, so I found it really interesting to get a better look of who she is and why L respects her so much. I also really liked her personality alongside Ryuzaki’s during the investigation.
I appreciate the patience, as these books take surprisingly long to make, and I hope you enjoy the novel!
