Keeping it going, in this horror movie recap we're going to take a few minutes to look at Wolf Creek. Set in Australia, and with the added creepiness of supposedly being based on a true story, we join three friends going on a holiday to the isolated outback. When their car breaks down, they're stuck trusting in the hospitality of a stranger who offers to help. While he seems harmless enough, the soon find themselves at the mercy of a very disturbed individual.
While Wolf Creek doesn't necessarily add much to the genre, it does bring its own brand of brutality in its willingness to sacrifice the protagonists in gruesome ways. No happy endings.
