States are increasingly interested in adopting energy storage policies and programs. In this webinar, Todd Olinsky-Paul, project director at the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA), reviewed the major policies adopted by leading states, discussed their strengths and weaknesses, and identified issues that should be addressed as states seek ways to support energy storage deployment and the development of markets for the services storage can provide. Policies and issues discussed included procurement targets, rebates, efficiency plans, storage adders, grant programs, storage in net metering, virtual peakers, clean peak standards, resiliency initiatives and grid modernization. The webinar also looked at results from some of the early-adopter states.
